Mr Roy Ginn - Chairman & Exhibition
Manager Hello, My name is Roy I have been a member of the club for 25 years or so. and I have been the Chairman of the club for the last eight years or so, and have served as chairman on and off in previous years as well. I primarily model in OO gauge. However I do appreciate all scales and gauges associated with model railways. I am the prime instigator of the club having a corporate image to present to the public, having introduced ID badges, new shirts, and a modern digital communication system which we use at our show and when we visit other shows. I also work very hard on behalf of the club members to keep the club going from strength to strength. R.G. |

Mr Glen Barry - Vice Chairman
Hello there. My name is Glen and I have been
a member of the club for around 4 years. I have recently taken over from
Alan Earle, who has stepped down as Vice-Chairman after doing an
excellent job for a number of years. I am currently the only member of
the club to work in the rail industry, and can be found working anywhere
along the c2c route form Shoeburyness to Fenchurch St. If you do come to
our Annual Exhibition, you will find me on the club stand assisting
people with questions about the show, what we do and how to go about
joining the club. |

Mr Paul Turner - Secretary Hi, My name is Paul. I have been a member of the club for a little over four years, I have recently taken over the job of Club Secretary following the retirement of Reg Curd who having done to job for some considerable length of time has decided to hang up his scribe and slate, but only after lining me up for the task, So What have I done to deserve this? although I must say with the help of Reg who I am sure will be keeping me on the rails, I will be able to rise to the tasks required. So not much time for me to play with my G Scale now, which will please my wife! P.T |

Mr Richard Atkins - Committee
Member I’m Richard, and like Paul I’ve only been a member of the club for a few years. I joined to be able to awaken a lifetime dormant interest with like-minded, sober colleagues. Oh well, never mind. My interests lie almost exclusively in 4mm scale modelling, including locomotive and stock construction, and scratch building of structures. Getting involved in projects for the club and with individual members has been a great learning experience. Somehow, I now find myself on the Committee. R.A. |

Mr Trevor Grout - Newsletter Editor &
Webmaster Hi, I'm Trevor and I am not only the newsletter editor and webmaster for the club but I am also back office support for the club, this means 99% of all the show paperwork has been produced by me for the show manager. I have been a member of the club now for over 20 years after rejoining some years after being a junior member. My main focus is with modern image modelling (tin boxes as some would say!) however I also have an interest with steam modelling mainly with a Great Western based flavouring, but I also do enjoy other flavours as well.
